Challenge: Long-Term Planning for an MVP
Platform for safe and legal hunting
Book the Wild is a hunting marketplace enabling hunting operations to list hunts for sale for hunters to purchase directly. It also enables operations to market themselves to the hunting community for free.
The platform connects them to discuss any further questions and then allows the deal to be made with a contract and a payment.

Client’s Goal:
Book the Wild explores a niche that has a very defined target audience. Our client is a hunting enthusiast, who is very passionate about the project. Since they’ve noticed that other communities in this niche are outdated, they decided to create something new and fresh.
The client came to us with an idea to create a thriving community of people who all share the same passion for hunting.
One of their aims was also to create unique, user-friendly, and technologically advanced designs that can be enticing for the users.
Challenge: Long-Term Planning for an MVP
The website is not built for a huge community, it has a well-defined target audience. However, we found a lot of features to implement and complex software logic. It posed a challenge of long-term planning for scalability. Every operation had to account for potential scaling so that those features would have a possibility to be implemented later on.
We also had to account for the changing market and its evolving needs. Since the product is an MVP, we had to keep our focus clear and implement the essentials only.
Our solution: we engaged very experienced front- and back-end developers as well as a project manager with great long-term planning skills. This allowed us to build transparent communication, which in turn enabled the team to only implement the essential features.
Users can register a profile with one of the roles: outfitter or hunter.
Each user has a profile and can view and change it.
The outstanding feature of this app is that every trip can be later edited and configured by both sides in a chat. This allows users to create the perfect trip for themselves right on the website.
Users can keep in touch with each other and discuss trips.
Each registered user can post a review.
Outfitters have ratings depending on the hunter’s feedback.
The app has search functionality and filters according to the animals that are allowed to be hunted in specific areas. There is an additional feature that improves outfitters’ visibility, allowing featured providers to get top places in search results.
An admin panel is used to manage the website. The only user who has access to the admin panel is our client.
Results:
As a result, our team delivered an MVP based on the selected technologies. We’ve created software with great scalable potential, including ideas and features to be implemented in the post-release support stage.
To achieve effective monetization, we’ve integrated Stripe to ensure seamless transactions within the website. Our team also sped up the development thanks to technological frameworks, such as Tailwind CSS.
Together we created an intuitive website for easy connections between outfitters and hunters, and the opportunity for all of them to collaborate efficiently.
